Since this thread has been active I'd like to tell some history. During the occupation there were actually more Dutch who collaborated with the Germans than those who resisted while most people were unbothered living their daily life as usual. Life wasn't at all bad under occupation until the famine at the end of the war, since the Germans were losing at that point.
The only reason people think there was this big underground resistance is because the jews propped up the instances of resistance while largely ignoring the collaboration in history books and such.
The invasion was necessary to prevent a British landing on mainland Europe since we all know what kikesterdam was like.
There were not even concrete plans on what to do with the Netherlands after the war, many people had many different ideas, but nothing was ever decided upon. The occupation was strategically needed to win the war and the Dutch people were treated with respect since they are Aryan.
