im not even mad that this is what its about. afterall, the entire point of a story is to make you see something from the perspective of someone else, AKA you can write about things that are pretty taboo in order to get an interesting perspective on something, which is good because it gets the reader to question themselves and how they view said taboo

Yeah, that's on me. It is a placeholder what's on AO3 after all and I didn't really consider what to really write to sum up the stakes of the work so I just wrote the most basic bullshit. It's more of an appendix note than in-narrative material. i already wrote in that she's from marseille, and historically that's where the pieds retreated to. or maybe she's a direct descendant of the pieds born in marseille, then she moves to the netherlands or whatever. i only explored kiki being from algeria in the first place so coco isn't alone on the

i did, yes. i copy pasted your AO3 pages into a txt filed and told AI to write a python script which extracts only the actual text, extracts footnotes, gives it a sleek design (using html and css) and exports as epub. if you want i can do the same for your current version if you provide it. you can also tell me what changes you would like to see and we can check for errors because this was just a demo i made in maybe an hour or so for fun. the script was this one https://files.catbox.moe/ab0h4m.py but it's specialized for my AO3 use case so it won't "just work" (also there may be minor bugs so double checking and iterating on the output is important)

if you're worried about the adult content... it mostly doesnt care. ESPECIALLY when you upload a file instead of prompting yourself. the uploaded file can even contain nigger or a shooter's manifesto no problem. you can also upload entire books to it no problem. also technically i didnt "transcribe" it, i used a python script which uses regex to identify footnotes etc. as needed. if you actually do choose to use this and you have little or no experience, it will probably be more annoying than you think. expect it to take some days to get it perfect.
