Ok Zaryans, I've read a decent amount of fanfics since I joined this GEMMY SPACE and I've decided to rank them all (the ones I felt like)

Reunion. 5/10: It's ok, the pacing is kinda quick for what it's trying to do, and it feels the needs to explain everything instead of letting the reader interpret it.

Death and Reborn, 7/10: I would've given this a 9, but I re-read it and realized it wasn't as good as I remembered. I do like the concept, but it also suffers from bad initial pacing and overexplaining. Also it was assisted with AI and it kinda shows in some parts, but it didn't hinder how I felt about it. Pretty decent, but it could be better
10 Dutch Days, 2/10: Really annoying dialogue. They won't shut up about the stupid game Maya played, and mentioning important things which are never brought up again. Everything feels forced, and I just don't care about any of the characters. It's a decent concept, having the personalities of Coco and Maya somewhat swapped (doe Maya still kinda has anxiety), but it's so poorly executed I can't give it any higher than a 2/10
When Days Get Brighter in Amsterdam, 4/10: Could've been decent were it not

the fanfiction. It's also written like its a screenplay and NOT a book, so that's weird. There's also a side story that I just don't care about, and the nigger who uploaded it to AO3 is a retard and its impossible to read so you have to go on PLEBBIT if you wanna actually read it.
Kinda cool concept, but once again, things feel pretty forced
Total Opposites, 0/10: Abysmal Yurifag dogshit. Cleo likes Coco and goes about getting with her in the stupidest ways possible. Everybody acts out of character and nothing makes sense. SNCA the fanfiction.
One More Shot, 7/10: Maya becomes and alcoholic.

Tipping Point, 6/10: Coco hits Maya cause she got mad over an insult. The family kinda collapses from there. It's not finished yet so idk how it's gonna end. Decent storytelling though it's not very descriptive, and has pretty akward dialogue at times. Also Coco acts really out of character in this, and the Eiko plotline is shoved in which completely derails the entire thing.
Project Ongezoid, -3 Thrembillion/10: One of the only Zellig Fanfics on Watpad. I would've given it a 9/10, but for SOME REASON, THE CREATOR MADE AN AMAZING AND kinda EMOTIONAL STORY, AND DECIDED TO MAKE THE ENDING "IT WAS ALL A DREAM!!" WHY??? IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD AND YOU RUINED IT YOU SELFISH NIGGER
that's all from me, im writing my own fanfiction right now about Coco beating up Maya's shitskin bully (which might lead into an overarching story from there) but ive been kinda depressed (Maya reference GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG) so it might take a while

Comfortably Uncomfortable, 7/10: The Title sums up how I felt while reading it. This is the length of an average novel GEG. Maya and Coco essentially fall in love (in a natural way) but because they're sisters, it just feels weird. I know they're not blood related but it's still a bit weird. ALTHOUGH, it never made me that uncomfortable throughout, though it did get close at times.
There's no incest (cause incest needs 1. the people to be blood related and 2. actual sex, which is not present in the thing)
Overall, it was a decent read, but it really should've been between Maya and Someone Else, or just have Maya and Coco getting closer instead of falling in love.

why is the plotbeat always like "something happens, maya gets depressedorino or suicidalorino" but never do it in a realistic or satisfying way. there's never enough buildup, and it starts with Maya in a worse mental state instead of building to get to that point and THEN having her getting better
though this could just be because people wanna include this stuff in their first works when they don't have the fundamentals, which is a common pitfall in writing

This Google Sheets is here to document the sounds and instruments used in zellig's soundtrack.
And this thread is here for me to sperg and post findings since I'm sure it'd interest at least one of you to know what was used to make the music and audio of Ongezellig. So here it is.
I'll also probably post any project files for anyone who's interested in my recreations or wants to pitch in and post anything you might find interesting about zellig's sounds.
<REDDIT SPACE Some things of note: >Massa seems to mostly use pre-built/default presets that came with FL Studio or whatever 3rd Party plugin he may happen to use. So that's something to keep in mind when looking for 'lig instruments.
>From the few 3rd Party plugins we do know he uses (Sonatina Orchestra, Synth1, M-Box), they all seem to be hosted on "PLUGINS 4 FREE" (https://plugins4free.com/) when searching them up. So it may be possible that's where Massa got most of his music plugins from.
