The fact that my art is extremely static is something I am very well aware of and I agree with you guys. It's something I'm willing and trying to improve. I am a perfectionist (Massa syndrome) and if something doesn't look good, I don't post it. This same perfectionism also makes me stubborn to leave my comfort zone, which also doesn't help. I have experimented with using different angles and more dynamic poses quite a few times, but it never looks good. I also often fail to recognize how static my poses are until people point it out. Either way, I do ought to practice more often than I do bc now I make it sound like I'm constantly practicing but 9/10 times I cba.

If you have any tips for me, for any of these problems, I would appreciate those. Thanks (to multiple zaryans) for keeping this feedback constructive instead of calling me a shit artist bc I struggle with perspective/dynamic poses.

You could try sketching poses from dynamic stock photos or drawing your characters in more 3D spaces using focal points. Something I noted from your recent Mymy drawing was how stiff the torso was, so you should try looking into how much the human body warps at certain focal points on the body (waist, arms, etc…)

The legs seem to be on the same plane and that gives an impression of them being static, in real life your body moves in a 3D space so the shoes would have slightly different faces shown, like in the reference you're using, with more dynamic parts being highlighted and static ones being more shadowed

i know this is a small thing, but i appreciate how the left girl's hair is scraggly and coarse while the right girl's hair is soft and fluffy. a lot of online artists wouldn't include subtle details to texture like that.
