>>5080anyways if you get together all the shit you want to keep in your little collection you can run ```fdupes -rd .``` and select the files to keep or delete from a list of duplicate pairs/groups/whatever, its simple to use
if youre confused just read the manual
compress the whole thing with ```tar –owner=0 –group=0 -acvf zellig.tar.zst zellig/``` and upload it somewhere sane, something that doesnt use weird hacked together custom JS bullshit for downloading files into my RAM and then saving all of that at once into my downloads dir instead of just using default fucking DDL, mediafire seems to work and soyjak.download also works, i dont care about how its compressed as long as its not RAR, so make multiple archives if you have to.
>>5081>monero minertoo bloated, too complex to set up and run, needs a botnet or a local copy of the blockchain, takes forever, pool mining means you connect to 6 thremborillion random servers and completely fuck over your privacy for that, and its not guaranteed to work either
besides, i wouldnt want to mine crypto as a form of payment just to shitpost somewhere, proof of work captchas just waste electricity (which is a good thing because it really pisses off amerimutt poorfags)
>but but 4-5% compressionzstd is VERY fucking fast but file sizes can be about x1.5 as big as xz compression, it depends on what youre compression of course. zstd was designed for general compression and especially text/code/databases/etc, but not for things like videos, images, etc..
you have audio/video codecs for that shit
zstd works very well for pretty much everything, but especially well for things like code, text, and other raw data that probably contains a lot of duplicated things (like 2 images of which one is just an edited version of the other with half of the file being the same)
