I've literally never fallen in love with any piece of entertainment media so quickly. I love everything about it. The animation, characters, story, music, EVERYTHING! I'm almost embarrassed by how much I like it. I discovered zellig a little over a month ago and I still think about it every day.

What's weird is that don't even consider myself a very "unsociable" person, maybe a little introverted but nothing crazy like what Maya has.

It's just effort. The animation is smooth, the VAs are great, and the cultural references are spot-on. It's like King of The Hill but capturing late-00s Holland instead of mid-90s Texas, if that makes any sense.

When I first watched it I was expecting it to be stupid sharty slop but it was actually the best show I ever watched ever, I have seen other shows kind of similar but none of them come even close to being as good as zellig
