Which I'm pissed about because he doesn't see the full potential of the show, despite how huge indie animation has exploded and still is growing. Every new pilot gets released and reaches millions of views.
If he's really smart, the best he could do is reupload the entirety of Ongezellig as one short film (even market it properly as one pilot even), and let the internet do the rest.

its completely explained why he didn't do this in the googly doc. he ultimately made the pilot for himself, merchandising was against his moral code of zoiets, and majorly burned himself out in order to complete one part of it. his creative works are purely the result of a hobby and there wasn't enough divine intervention with exposure to warrant any continued investment. in the end its a bunch of ideas birthed from good creative talent, the ambitions are just a bridge too far. way she fucking goes buddy, its one in a million for sure against all the other god-awful troonslop on the 'tube, but not everything is meant to be...

What lore lmfao. It's a 20 minute pilot with only enough info to provide basic ideas of the 3 main girls' personalities, everything else is up to audience interpretation.
