It's kinda weird that 92% of all posts on the booru are from just two users. That's almost 8,000 out of 8,500 posts. And there are nearly 4,000 posts with the "tagme" tag that are barely tagged at all, with only a couple of tags each. It feels like they just want big numbers instead of a properly tagged booru. Plus, banning Tor and needing (((approved))) accounts? That's some real glowie shit. Even Zute didn't go that far.

Everything party related comes from this, and that's usually all the oekaki shit I drew, which I sometimes upload en-masse to the zooru, and the other stuff is also posted here too ONLY when it's finished

about what's posted, as I explained in probably way too much of an effortpost above, I am just a fan of the show who recognizes the zarty as the successor to what I consider the beating heart of the fandom. I don't have close or regular contact with Zalt or Bob or any moderation, so I can't speak to their exact thoughts on myself beyond their interactions being cordial and their being generous enough to allow me some limited elevated tagging privileges. the fact that I still have any submission privileges should be an indicator that posting standards on the zarty and the zooru aren't absolutely one-for-one identical when it comes to the history of the artists behind certain works. the two you list were both present in the previous boorus and carried over to the current one, along with numerous others with poor reputations on the zarty, so I'd say it's safe to assume that the general principle when it comes to the booru itself is the separation of art and artist. if something I post is out of line I trust the issue to be dealt with appropriately, but so far as I can tell I haven't breached any standards as of yet after many thousands of submissions.
on tagging, as I also explained, right now my focus is getting things up adding only very fundamental tags, as this allows the maximum amount of content to be actively accessible/available to be tagged by anyone who visits (who overall are going to have more raw man-hours/knowledge than myself alone), and then once the mass uploading is finished, moving on to doing what I can to contribute to the richness of the tag database
as for where I got all this stuff, as I explained somewhere in the comments on the booru, I sourced these images from scrapes of the larger ongezellig discord servers as well as massadonie, my personal zellig folder built up over years, and a scrape of the zarty up to about a month ago.

now that all that's addressed, the reason I dropped in was--seeing as how at the current pace, provided no one decides to bridge the gap themselves, we're likely to reach the 10 thousandth (accepted) post on the zooru in just under a week's time (I know there's a lot of dupes to be ironed out that technically inflate this number, but just work with me)--that I figured that I'd ask if there are any media in particular not already posted to the booru that zaryans might suggest as being fitting or deserving of that spot. or, in the case that anyone is feeling generous and ambitious enough, if they felt like putting forward something original to commemorate this little occasion

lastly, I guess I'll also take the opportunity to shill the email address I posted in the zooru comments some time ago, since in retrospect it'll obviously get more lasting visibility here. if anyone has their own zellig image collections, or just individual things they either know aren't or don't think are likely to already exist on the zarty, AND you don't feel like taking the time to upload/tag/screen these for duplicates yourself (or I guess if you just want to flood me with gore or whatever), then you can email me at (((baikal2277@protonmail.com))) with the files attached or a link to some hosting service, and I will make sure they are appropriately processed and added to the zooru. I can sort-of-kind-of give credit in the comments if you like, though even my own effort is mostly snca, so at least know that I would personally appreciate it a great deal. more zems is good for everyone.

In my download of the previous zooru and its tags subvariant:soymy was the convention for soymy tagging, however I do understand that it is a subvariant in name only. So if Zaryans think it should be changed to variant:soymy I'll switch it, let me know what you think.

on the off chance anyone misses my latest message on the booru and they're wondering why uploads from myself aren't coming through as usual, I'm pasting this here:

I've come to a hitch now in that my rate of uploading has finally lapped the output of all the file-sorting I did since some two months ago now. that, and the bulk of the larger archives I had access to have been more or less categorized with exception of some miscellaneous directories which I will have to resume working through (these all containing a far, far lower IAZ to NAZ ratio and thus taking more time to squeeze anything relevant from) with the scarce time available to me, which up until now I've been dedicating to uploading here each day. I'd still love to see the booru reach Funny Hitler Number + 0 by the end of the year, but for at least a time you can expect uploads to become less frequent and more erratic as I try to expand to other sources and update on my existing ones. my work schedule will become less intense at the coming close of the season, so that will help somewhat as well.
there's also still the matter of animations and videos. Zalt, if possible, a bulk upload as was spoken about, at least of the animated images and videos posted, either the thread or sent to my email would be of great help as I get the hang of efficiently processing these duplicates--video files especially can inflate the total size of the booru if doubled, and they also take longer to analyze for any unwanted embedded content.
even if I do reach the end of my massed collection here at some point, this isn't quite 'retirement', as tagging and sourcing still has yet to even start in earnest. until you next see me on the log, cheers.
