I assume this is just due to the animation improving. But I don't see the reason to why change some stuff, like the broken mirror or the bookshelves
I assume it's Massa being a perfectionist and whatnot about the weird design quirks of Maya's room in Deel 1, but if this series ever comes to fruition I hope he at least brings back the curtain on her wall; I think it'd be funny if Maya has a curtain that you would assume leads to a window into Mymy's room, but when someone pulls it back it just leads to the wall behind it.
the show has been made in the timespan of 5 years + there was some nonsense with the original, like the window that leads to Mymy's room for...some reason.
