We all know Coco as a naive and kind girl, but I don't think so, I believe that Coco's personality is a well-constructed mask that she created to protect her psyche after the tragedy. And her smile and not understanding what ADD is is an image that hides a suffering girl who still cannot accept the past and a new family. She can be compared to Trevor from GTA 5. He is seen by all the characters and the player as a psycho and maniacs, but this is just an image for everyone else to hide their real problems and injuries. Coco herself partially revealed her real face in Deel 5 after Maya's words.

I have been thinking the same. The whole thing where she is both this very smart girl, but is also airheaded sometimes. It doesnt make sense, if you also dont think that she is just playing stupid intentionally.
I can also relate to that - trying to sometimes act as an innocent fella, while also experiancing negative events and know a lot of fucked up shit, for better or for worse.

It looks like a crown, so its probably connected with that. I remmember when i was a child and I celebrated my birthday at McDolad's or KFC, they would give me a crown too.
