Coco is a cold, calculated, serial killer.
She texts her sister, Maya, cryptic updates about her ongoing, grisly, murdering spree, cryptic enough, that you would never be tipped off to their truly macabre implications unless you were in the know like Maya is.
And while for her it's the reason for her debilitating anxiety, for Coco? It's nothing more than a fun after-school activity.
It's the real reason Maya is so ill at ease around her, and so incapable of building a connection with anyone.
When Maya slipped up in the library during school, and mispoke about Coco's deceased parents, Maya thought that was the end, she genuinely thought Coco was going to throw her out of the window, and end her life.
Of course, that didn't happen.
Did Coco simply not want to expose herself? Or did she really care about Maya, in some messed up sort of way?
In whichever case, Coco's cheerful, outgoing, and understanding personality is not to be trusted.
