if ur learning dutch i sugest reading the bible and writing it verse by verse with english

also listen to alotta musik, if u try to learn a languege and u imidiatly proscess the noises like langueage ur brain is gonna try to push the language u already know onto it. but when ur listening to musik ur just tryna match the noises and the native speaker

dutch is actually fairly comprehensible if you have a solid grasp of german
been learning german exclusively for the last year and a half or so and i could interpret signs and people talking to me and shit when i went to limburg last year
also am sufficient in irish but theres literally more incentive to learn russian or polish nowadays since the industry is dominated by slavshits in ireland lol

English is my native language and I understand German at the A1 level.

I know english and spanish. im learning dutch rn, for obvious reasons, and some german. i was into russian until i found out that the grammar changes for russian nouns 12 gorillion times or something.
