Now that the hype and emotional reaction to the document has passed, we have to realize that this document changes nothing for us.
What little lore there was in the document was mostly already covered in the leaked lore discussion call from 'assa. So there is little actually new information that ins't SNCA.
The other episode ideas are just undeveloped ideas that would most likely be executed differently than the initial idea anyways, thus having little actual impactful meaning. Furthermore, 'assa mentions that since they aren't developed they are non-canon.
The purpose of this document seems to just state that 'assa is completely done with Ongezellig and has no intent of ever coming back as well as trying to persuade the reader into giving up on Ongezellig as well.
This may seem demoralizing at first, but realize that this means that zellig is completely in our hands. We have the power to make with Ongezellig what we want and continue making zemmy projects and posts. This is no different from what we have already been doing ever since update 130, so its business as usual.
I have no idea what the future of Zellig holds, neither for the Zarty. But our love and passion for Zellig still remains and that is enough to move forward with. Zellig will always be a gem in my heart.

We are not going to restore anything because new episodes is not what we need and never was. Zellig is a form of a meme, like soyjaks are. Soyjaks have no show about them, neither they need one. What we get with the update is that now all the undesirables who clinged to the idea of continuation will get demoralised and leave, leaving us in the control of the whole zelligsphere.

Anyways, the only thing that can restore this show in my opinion is to create your own successful animation studio, hire Sam, tell him that we will make animation according to his idea and he will accept Ongezellig.
