Sorry for the quick fun ruining intermission, but Zoot has without a doubt lost interest. He’s given admin to one of his previous mods due to his absence, he is rarely active and checks his site once every week. So what does it mean?? He has a contract with godaddy which expires on September 26th, as far as I know, he’s planning on selling the site through either an auction or an actual buyer and if no one is interested it’s ovah. Ask me anything about the future of the site, I’ll be happy to answer. God bless!

We’ll all without a doubt miss Zoot, well he is still here, but he won’t be around when September comes. He’s had plans of making an IB separate from the soysphere, but im not an expert on this thought experiment. Zoot was a great guy, you couldn’t ask for a better admin.

Hello all,
It’s been almost two years since I began this website, and for that period, I’ve been your admin. I know that the zarty has had its ups and downs, but no matter how you feel about it, my time as your admin has come to an end. I feel really conflicted by doing this, but I feel that circumstances in my life have made it impossible for me to maintain this website to a good standard. You may have noticed that moderation quality has been subpar, and I have to say that I am probably responsible for much of it due to my neglect. I haven’t been able to invest as much time as I would have hoped, and seeing the website in this state during my absence and neglect is nothing short of disheartening.
Before I share any further details about the site transfer, I’d like to thank you all once again for your continued use of the website (well, most of you). I never thought that a silly zellig website run by an incompetent guy such as myself could ever see the activity and community that the zarty has accumulated over its time. I had really grown attached to this website, and my experience here is one that I will never forget.

Another thing I’d like to add is that we have known this for a long time, we just decided not to tell you. We don’t want you to believe it’s completely over, the site is still purchasable. I just feel like you all deserve to know since it’s been a topic popping up from time to time, maybe I’ll make a thread on /q/ about all summed up.
