is anyone here still mad about the rape of the incelcore community?
i was a really passive listener, listened to negative xp since 2023 and later in 2024 listened to some others, i like to call myself a midfag, it was good, you enjoyed it for the hell of it
<reddit space
the problem is when the normies started invading in about ends of 2024 (iirc doe) the point of the hobby started becoming "the community" mind you i joined when the community was already in deep decline, when a hobby of this nature starts having offline meetups you can already tell it's getting normalfagged (see: virginfest)
it no longer was a hobby that we enjoyed for the hell of it but it started becoming "the community" it became an excuse for these faggots to socialize
but look just because we enjoyed it for it's own sake doesn't mean that the genre had no meaning, it still was by and for losers like me who were against modern days retarded society

i have a neo nazi online friend that had been listening since 2018, massive oldfag, i asked him to describe incelcore and what it meant to him
>incelcore to me is basically just true punk, a bunch of young males against todays society and establishment
simple concept right? it starts becoming more and more confusing as normalfags flow in because they add their own shitty rules.
incelcore is death.

i was never big on tzarbombah's music (maybe i should give it another try) but he's by far the most based of the original scene
sad that the best artist that came out of the community was a female
>'Genre' defined by wiping your ass eith a guitar, low quality vocals and more static than a school PA syst-ACKKKKKKK

gezebelle
i mean i also hate her but come on she's consistently good, has consistent uploads, unique style and aesthetic
compare this to any other incelcore artist, the ones that could have been better gave up (fried for example) and the other ones just got worse or just cannot evolve
yeah back in 2023 i thought i joined when it was bad but it was just getting started
Unironically never heard of her and i have been listening to incelcore since 2020.

i feel this way too but mostly about ongezellig itself
My obsession with the genre came when it was getting attacked by tiktokfags, at that point the genre became competition for me (which is not what you're supposed to do just enjoy it)
TSMT. I'm that way with kind of both of them, which is not really good for your brain.

Any of those communities need good music output and to not eat their output and shit it out again. Incelcore is kind of fucked because everyone either gives up, dies, or does both. I don't really think shooter's output is what it used to be; even fried, who I guess became the biggest person from incelcore, may have gotten worse over time (not sure if the first or second album are better doe). Some of the new stuff is alright, but no one really has much more to add to it. Most of the projects or people that had a chance died. It would be cool to see someone really mess with the genre and make something new, but I don't know when that will happen. From all that I've heard Meth Wax's self-titled might be at least one of the best incelcore albums, and that predates incelcore and shooter himself.
in summary just put on the losercore playlist.

gezebelle gabagool probably
I'm in that really shitty age bracket where I'm too old to fully relate to the experience of the average 'Teen or Zaryan, but also too young to relate to the Millenialcux and most of the even older Gen Zs/Zillenials. Being an 01 or 02 Zoomzoom is a fucking miserable experience because nobody likes you
i wish i was that old, that way i could have been consuming my favorite media from the start instead of playing minecraft
i just wish it died instead of being raped with shovels for eternity by browns and troons
I get what you mean. We’re almost the same age.
That is another problem too. But luckily since all of them are so shit they just stick to their 'cords, don't appear anywhere else and there music isn't known for its originality, so they're quite easy to ignore. I think I've seen one 'cord jewtube video with one and the troon got called out for trying to groom someone the next video geg.
It's funny that with the internet and access to music all the music got conglomerated instead of splitting. Like from post-punk, the first two Wall of Voodoo albums were completely there own. It might be a problem with incelcore being also a community where the people making the music try to fit it's aesthetic too hard to get popular.
I got into it pretty late, but yeah its a bummer. I think about it quite a lot, and I'm pretty sure what doomed the scene is that it was all basically contained on Discord. I think if somebody made a dedicated, independent forum or imageboard website for the discussion of the music early on, things would have turned out better. Incelcore did start out on /mu/, after all.

TzarBombah win
I listened to it before it was even named incelcore, which by the way, was a label given by other normalfags
>tfw you're too old to fully appreciate what is
it was called incelcore later on because of the lyrics right?
iirc there was no name before it was called incelcore
Yes it didn't have any specific name, but if you found it and listened to it at the time you JUST knew it was special, also I don't remember if it was negativeXP or the other one who didn't like the term incelcore
So with XP I think he either used it for himself, or just didn't mind at first for a while. Then later down the line he basically made a statement that was like, not so much he hated or didn't like it, but he chooses not to lable himself as such because he thinks it's not super viable for his long term look and production.
I've been listening to School Shooter/NegativeXP since probably 2018 too and for many years I never really listened to any other incelcore (or e-punk, as Shooter insists on calling it since the term incelcore makes him leak) artists until a couple years ago, starting with Gezebelle and lately FBF, h4rtbrkr and a couple others that find their way into my playlist.
It's probably because I simply listened in isolation instead of becoming part of any "culture" or "community," but I never really felt bothered by "normies" and the like "LARPing" incelcore. I can't think of anything worse than a fandom negatively affecting the art it is based around, and I don't think that ever happened with incelcore. NXP and Gez still make great stuff nowadays and many new, talented artists are picking up right where the old MSG greats left off 10 years ago.
I think a lot of the perceived disconnect nowadays in the incelcore "community" isn't so much between "loser" and "normie" as much as it is between "oldfag" and "newfag," and as a proponent of soy cultural ethos, I welcome the newCHADS and their rejuvenation of the genre.
