Coco is meant to be modest, and though I can understand her wearing slippers indoors, not at school. I'm sure Dutch school dress codes are fairly lenient, but I would bet a kidney that flip flops would be unacceptable in a school setting still. Also Coco in a short skirt doesn't fit the modesty her character evokes either. The vest is cool, but not paired with such a short skirt
