i breezed through some of it and this guy writes like an 10 year old, it screams melodramatic on a character level
It was basically two separate stories that had very little to do with each other, and the epilogue just shit on everything Maya did to deal with her problems with Roos treating her like a toddler.
evendoe Maya did FUCKING NOTHING to deal with her problems or however Israel bombed a hospital
Agreed, everything before chapter 9 is completely ignored
thats basically how every zellig troon writes, just a cliche "resolution" to the real thing with the same story beats, which is telling since they'll tell you they like the show cuz it's "quirky" and call u a pedo for understanding half the appeal

Evendoe Maya did go to therapy and was able to admit to her family that she has problems. It’s not a lot, but it’s at least something. She could’ve continued building on that but the self inserting troon had to make Roos protect Maya from any further improvement.

im saying they'll try to "fix" maya and make her more social, and they'll do it by having her lash out on one of her sisters to lay out stepping stones. it reads like a cliche melodrama, telling of how they view the show.

Reminds me of how they wrote Snoot fics, actually pelt with rocks trannies they are so detached from reality that they couldn't write anything remotely good even if they tried

why is the plotbeat always like "something happens, maya gets depressedorino or suicidalorino" but never do it in a realistic or satisfying way. there's never enough buildup, and it starts with Maya in a worse mental state instead of building to get to that point and THEN having her getting better
though this could just be because people wanna include this stuff in their first works when they don't have the fundamentals, which is a common pitfall in writing
