watched as much as I could, I hated patronising kids media so it was everything I ever wanted

Porn has a completely different effect on the mind, so gore would mostly not be EPI aside from the rare gurofag.
Same reason why videogames don't cause violence but might affect someone when there's porn.

Gore is bad because it desentises you to worse stuff (example 'mt) which is how most foodist are made. They started watching general run of the mill gore videos then seeked out more and joined specific gore communities where the initial recruitment was made. Foodists don't have a problem with animal torture because they already watched so much human gore that it doesn't register as a problem
