>>18751Actually, given the context of Matthew 7, that passage can't be applied to the Muslims. Anyway, I find the genesis and appearing of Islam kind of ironic. God, in fact, might have had really influenced Muhammad intentionally, and spoken to him, in orded to create Islam, as a punishment against His chosen ones. Muhammad had said "may God cut my aorta if I'm lying about Him!", and God had cut his aorta in the end. It seems authentic. In Deuteronomy 28 we read:
>If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues — great and prolonged plagues — and serious and prolonged sicknesses. Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. (The Justinianian plague)>And the Lord will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, "You shall never see it again." And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, and no one will buy. (The muslim slavetrade across the Mediterranean)We know, during that time, around the period of the fall of Rome, the Arians were on rise, for instance, so it wouldn't be surprising if God decided to punish His people in Europe for falling into harmful and disrespectful heresies.
