Great idea, I think we should also make it that you can only access certain things through the karma score, like for example you can catch a bus for free if you have enough karma and if you don't have enough you have to pay or are barred from it

we should enable people to upvote others by giving them karma, and the more karma someone has, the more his upvote influences the upvoted person, which makes sense because if someone has a lot of karma it means he must have been useful to people who upvoted him so knows what is good and what not
we should also allow people to exchange karma for services or products, we could even print some sort of "karma tokens" so that they don't have to upvote each other when they cooperate because that would be rather cumbersome
