Do you think the Schoppenboers live in the suburbs or in the city center and what kind of house do you think it is?
The only time we see the outside of the house is in sweet 16 and it’s clearly supposed to resemble an urban canal house. This isn’t canon exactly but it’s the most we have to go on for the exterior. We know the house has to have at least two floors, and has a garden behind the dining table.
I’ve been on funda looking at different types of Dutch houses and I think the ones they label geschakelde woning, the semi detached houses connected by garages, feel like the best fit to me because it can still kind of look like a canal house, has the space between the houses we see in the panel, and is suburban which to me makes more sense for them than urban. She would continue all her previous negative behaviors and probably begin to fail, while resisting the attempts from her sister(s) at getting her to go out. From here she could either drop out and become an actual neet for a while or find something she actually has passion for.
