I know what it's like, if it helps, do new things, as small as going on a different walk or buying a new video game, if you can make it bigger, go places, do stuff. If you don't you'll be 60 years old and asking yourself "What happened???". Also I read in the thread about distractions and yeah, those are really important to drop. I don't usually bring my phone around with me. It's not what you have to do but it's an option for getting rid of distractions.

think about the thing you fear the most, or that causes the strongest shock/hesitation etc. that's what you should be doing. even if the fear is just of task switching and having to adopt a different mindset, focus on that, get used to task switching.

as a fag who liked the first deel the most, it did get me interested in what you can do with minimal animation. I was gonna also try to watch through Aqua Teen Hunger Force before i tried to make anything thoughie, and i haven't finished yet

I would make a 'toon only if I could create one 3-minute deel for a relatively short time like 2-3 weeks.
Even doe anime/animation studios do it with multiple animators and simplified animation techniques like low fps and 3-frame mouth movement (that's why I hated anime for a long time as a kid).

I don't think it matters, photography also put a lot of people from their jobs (for example portraitist who made paintings of important people), but created a lot more jobs later.
