I guess it's nice to watch for fun, probably, as far as I can judge, it contains such themes like muh eternal frenship and stuff, but I'm not really sure for I didn't directly touch this piece of media albeit have frens who did. The problem with it is, seemingly, solely how many gooners contribute to the whole image of the fandom. But I know it's just an superficial illusion.

I'm going to rant for a second. There is major dissonance between story telling and what the audience actually sees in the show.
Throughout the show, we are told schools like Saunders and Korumorimine are the top level schools. In canon though, Saunders only won a single round (against Blue Division), half of Anzio's victories, which is described in-universe as a bad school.
Going off of what was actually shown in the show, St Gloriana is the best school, considering they yet to lose a match in any official media, and never lost to Oorai in particular. They've also beat Korumorimine as of Das Finale (granted that was under Erika).
