China is way more similar to fascist italy (when it comes to economical policies) than any actual communist state, it just shows that communism doesn't work at all and that it needs external factors to grow, like imperialism (think of the USSR) or costing off pre-existing wealth, and when that eventually runs out due to the closed market policies. Cuba is especially good that it happened now because it can easily become a functional second world country and it'll stop flooding America and Florida for that case with Cubans
