One thing I've noticed recently is how completely subservient the few people who post 'zellig on the 'eety are. They play the classic social game of giving in to what the (wrong) majority thinks, you can truly read that they're not sure if they should even say

It's very very bleak to see and reminds me of how 4channers acted by incorporating doomerism and cuckerism into their persona instead of being prideful of what has been done or what they do. And for what? To gain imaginary social points on the imageboard?
It shows that even in restricted circles some people will be intimidated into following the pack out of sheer social pressure, even if in the correct position, which is why it's also important to shift the overton in real life as the same logic applies there

Wish those could be saved because I have seen the most insane of takes in order to fit in like Ongezellig is good but I definitely wouldn't want it to be around soyjaks no sir, it's the soy version of conservatives cheering for gay rights

that's a huge failure at perception management imho, if only we could trace back what went wrong in 2024 and 2025 to end up in this state of submission, good exercise for noticing how the discourse is being shaped in general
