4 kids would be the bare minimum but ideally, I'd like to have more than that
To get the things you want to present the moderate version of it to others and slowly convince them to increase, first it's getting married then 1 kid then some more and eventually you will have more.
yeah, I'd just want to live a quiet life as a farmer or a blacksmith in the mountains with a family
Neither of those lives are quiet, a farmer works tirelessly and a blacksmith only exists in the modern age as a specialty metal worker for specific mostly artistic creations and are appropriately not in remote locations.
You can still do those things but understand those lives aren't are you idealize. A blacksmith could be calm but will still be around a city to have a large enough customer base to support a niche career.

I was pretty invested in discerning several Religious orders and know the layout of American Catholicism about as well as most professors.
If you’re Hispanic you will fit in best in California where Hispanics outnumber white Catholics about 4-1. The Northeast is the most Aryan but was also hit hardest by the Sex Abuse Crisis. Parishes shut down there because very few young people show up to Church, and the Boomers are lax and die off anyways. In the Midwest parishes are shut down for lack of Priests. The South is OK especially if you like the TLM. That and the Midwest are the best places for Catholicism now.
It is debatable whether Hispanic Catholicism is actually deserving of the name.
Your best Religious Orders are any ones that have young people. Canons across the board are doing well. The Norbertines of SoCal and Chicago are noteworthy. The Dominicans are doing well too but modern theological standards are pretty low. Being academically serious when the academia never touches the classics is a waste of anyone’s potential. The FSSP are doing extremely well but are very hard to get into.
There are three kinds of Religious Orders: Missionaries, Mendicant Friars, and Monastics. The Missionaries are the most libcoded. The Friars have the most young people. The Monks are largely conservative but tend to swing older except for Clear Creek Abbey and a few other places.
Just discern anyway. I joined a diocesan seminary a while back, and I'm not sure how it works in American seminaries, but the parishian life is quite lackluster. Religious orders tend to be full of debauchery. All the Franciscans do is eat. The Dominicans larp St Thomas so badly they forget that their order is meant to preach. I have more examples, but I digress. Joining the priesthood because you can't see yourself getting a girlfriend is a bad idea, it just means you considered the priesthood an option in life, not the sacred vocation that it is. You will get filtered eventually just because you initially joined as an involuntary celibate. Even if they do accept you, they will eventually discern that you're not up to code if holiness is not your top priority.
No bc it wouldn't be Christian, in Christianity you can only have 1 wife, also this behavior would by unnobel and islampiled
