I listen to the whole album pretty regularly on the bus and such. I'd say it's different from other albums as you really should listen to the whole thing in one sitting and in correct order.
The songs aren't as much songs as they are pieces of a larger piece of art.

Anything by Death in June really, I'd also really recommend Arseny Avraamov who was a Soviet avant-garde artist in the 20s who made many interesting noise/industrial tracks. They really laid the groundwork for what would become noise if you ask me.
