Every argument nowadays in the mainstream political media is either ad hominems or taking some kind of moral high ground since that's the only thing that gets people riled up.
That's why debates are just fights in who can generate the most "gotchas" against the other person instead of actually addressing the full point. We've seen that with Nick Fuentes, Charlie Kirk, Dean Withers, etc…, just any political influencer who is largely talked about has their clippable moments designed to be spread throughout their community.
