It's almost 2026, hows the front lines there, I haven't seen any news on it in a year it seems like.

That was coined by a US General, not Putin himself.
No.14259
>>14257False. All russians, from the least to the highest officials, believed in the 3 days success. Even "my" president thought it'd last in less than 3 days. Homo sovieticus are extremely delusional and you need to know this.
No.14260
>>14259Muttcaca is right doe, 3 days come from an internal American estimation, Russians planned the operation to last 2 or 3 weeks based on their maps.

No.14262
>>14254It's a war of attrition. Russians believe Ukraine will get economically exhausted like Germany in 1918 and the front will break, while Ukrainians hope for an outcome similar to the outcome of Iran-Iraq war.

>>14261Of course Monke didn't expect his army to get stuck in trenches.
No.14264
>>14262Fancy way of saying nothing has changed on the front. Ukraine won't fall economically as long as the EU is pumping their cash in.
No.14266
>>14264Do you think that after the war, Ukraine will become a globohomo Wiemar brown shithole so they can replace all the young men who died in the war and those who fled?

>>14266There's 1 billion indians and soon to be billions of afrikans, of course they're going to use it as an experimental ground for a total mass replacement.
No.14269
>>14253Zarty Ukraine-Russia war will not end for at least another five years. How do I know? Because prolonging this war means extending the life of Putin's empire.
No.14272
We have seen in almost all modern wars today how those small, disgusting machines connected by thin cables have turned the battlefield into a hell. In the past, people, for example in the Victorian era or the Crusades, would fight entirely for loot and religion. Now, they fight for big corporations, and they are blown to bits by tens of thousands of monstrous, flying machines called drones, manufactured by the very same companies in whose name they fight. Well, such are the realities of life. I wish I were a happy knight, able to take the armor of the enemy I killed and sell it in the market for two gold coins.

No.14277
>>14275Have you noticed how much power China has over the US? They buy up half of our land, produce all of our goods, run our social media websites, etc. China knows it can't win a physical ground war. So they beat us economically and socially. It's just another Cold War. China is the new USSR, and chances are the new race will end the same way the first one started. Failed Proxy wars and economic disaster. Russia isn't the big bad it used to be, and to be a warhawk isn't going to solve the problem. It is in my best interest to take no sides, because my morals go against it. Also, explain what you mean by
>existential war with the remnants of bolshevismAre you saying this war is like the land and power grab of the Russian Revolution? I don't see the similarities.
No.14278
>>14277>China is the USSR 2.0Right.
>Russia isn't a big problem Because it lost all the power. It didn't lose the ideas which they followed when they were the Soviet Union.
>Are you saying this war is like the land and power grab of the Russian RevolutionNo it's just that Putin and Lukashenko are commies. They want to restore the USSR they knew, they personally admitted that.
No.14280
>>14278>They want to restore the USSR they knew, they personally admitted that.I can sort of understand why. They see the empire as oppressive to peasants, and they both held comfy jobs in their respective Communist parties. They see the U.S.S.R. as the pinnacle of Russian history, and to be honest, it pretty much was, which says a lot about Russian accomplishments in general. At least to my knowledge, only the old people look fondly upon the U.S.S.R. I'm not sure if there will ever be help for Russia. I mean, before the U.S.S.R., it was a barbaric serf shithole. But even the U.S.S.R. couldn't save Russia, I mean, do I even have to say why?

>>14281>Pre-USSR Russia was better than the USSRBut it was way behind every other European country. I feel like maybe the U.S.S.R. did help industrialize and "modernize" Russia.
No.14285
>>14282 no it wasn't, it was well on its way to get modernized, like balkan kingdoms. much of this rhetoric is utter communist propaganda, kike bolsheviks. when communists took over, for example, the rate of literacy was going at the same speed as before the revolution. it is bound to happen. I'm the switzerland flag zaryan btw, you'll probably see me with a different flag again later.
