I played the Half Life Gemerald mod, and remembered this video. It was one of the first videos I watched when I was really new to this community in October 2023.

Now it's (almost) October 2026, three years have passed. 

And I cannot say I'm happy with the changes I've seen, I miss when our show wasn't on instagram or shittok. I miss when retarded Mexican offsiter larpers (that would get bullied off of actual true fan communities like here) didn't shoot up mosques kill noone and die making us into a laughing stock. 

Maybe it's just rose tinted glasses? It just feels like things were less shit back then, things felt closer and more tight-knit. I often revisit old gems like these (that haven't been nished off the internet before I could archive them) and remember what was.
