Now, If I did a sequel to Ongezellig, I would base it off of the Maya mail documents and the unused episodes, call it “Maya’s Mail,” and have it be documentary style show like The Office where the interview sections are from Maya where she recite the diary logs. At the end of the season, it would be revealed that Maya’s imaginary friends were the ones recording the interview sections and that she had been talking to herself all along.
