and why the hell would my fiktie be comparable to something like the coming of age slop the ongezellig tag has in ao3? nobody has fucking written the adult of the show in an adult manner, and i know this because i've read a substantial amount of the catalogue there. it's dominated by YA-adjacent narrative where every character has to have an arc like Kolibria's works, actrual competent fikties like A Faded Tulip, or dead nigger babies like 10 dutch days and writergeg's Misery. and i figured that since i'd read nabokov in the past, i would put that to use. nobody has written ongezellig fanfics that revolved around vera, and you're still going to fucking call me poison just because it involves an actual taboo. like genre literature is not allowed to have that while you dare call me fucking illiterate. kill yourself
