Yeah, Mymy's more reminiscent of Alvin from his 1960s show (both serve as an "annoyance" to the others) or the average leading Hanna-Barbera character (Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, etc who would always make funny quips) than anything related to how the others were developed
