Echo chambers are an inevitable effect due to the human mind seeking comfort amongst like-minded people. However, due to the lack of rules set in place, coupled with the total anonymity on imageboards, people are more vocal with their opinions — as controversial as it may be — causing them to say their stances with little reprucussion.
