Austrians and Eastern Germans are 1/3 Slavic, the Proto-Slavs themselves were 1/5 Germanic, and modern Kaszubians, Silesians, Poles and Belarusians are 1/4 Germanic, it's like they are hugely intermingled, so they are kind of brothers folks you know.
