when i get back home i can send photos of my little king tiger tank. the three hatches on it open up but iirc theyre too small to put anything in them. it also has the unique early model turret that only the first 50 king tigers were fitted with. i think another cool detail about the little model i have is that without paint, it's all in german dunkelgelb (a weird dark yellow), like the king tiger tank at the bovington tank museum in britain, which speaking of, isn't a complete example of the tank. it's missing several parts, but despite germany's crippled situation towards the end of WW2, they were still capable of painting the unfinished tank in that dark yellow, which is unlike some examples of the german panther tank, which i believe were constructed with a base coat of red, and many surviving examples of the tank feature red splotches, like panther tank "bretagne" and "332", both of which are at the musee des blindes in france. though i'm not 100% sure about the red base color thing, so take it with a grain of salt.
