I don’t think it even needs to be a substantial loss for it to affect Coco because of her relationship with loss, it could be trivial from Maya’s perspective which is why it might crack the princess image. Or maybe something Maya can relate to more, like what if Coco had a south african stuffed animal that was ruined somehow?
