it just makes me sad that a show i really hold dear to my heart wasn't able to get greenlit just because of the creators unrealistic expectations for it. i'm sure if he just outsourced productions to the philippines, made an english dub, and pitched it to studios that weren't in the netherlands it would have been possible to have a show by now
