I know this may be shocking to hear, but it's been this way nearly forever, certainly at least for a few years, and is definitely the case on the whole. there's not a ton I can do about this personally except encourage the creation of OC or again encourage zaryans to participate in uploading their own stuff they have saved instead of bitching. I can also try and switch gears on incorporating more art pulled from the zarty scrape if it's really bothering enough of you--maybe a poll on this, including an option for me to just fuck off? I think I've said about three times on the booru that the content I'm sifting through and uploading will change wildly based on whim and more recently on simple efficiency (thought this will stop being the case after I move through the list of known artists), even if in hindsight it seems to have regrettably allowed >>93673 the opportunity to grab a screenshot making the booru look "family friendly" as it were. keeping the featured image something like what's up right now might be the best route to stave off any incoming traffic from that inlet < >>93694 BAP is a weird pervert grifter jew, and the account is replying directly to trans rights shit. this person absolutely knows what they're doing. < if zaryans at large have a problem with art from persons this site's userbase finds suspect or who have ever drawn porn or assorted woke stuff of zellig or otherwise then I can probably just stop posting altogether and instead recommend that 80% of the content that exists on the zooru even prior to my arrival be purged, perhaps along with the hundreds of goonbait and intentionally subversive pieces of content on there which actually originate from the zarty (see for instance, the drawfag active right now in the thread regarding the coco refugee image having a dedicated nsfw account on twitter) and have survived two database migrations over multiple years. frankly I don't find most of the newer content made here (ie, 5 gorillion minor soymy and agugu edits) valuable/gemmy enough to be assed to post it in favor of spending that effort on archiving art related to the show which the entire site is based around on in general, but I don't want to demoralize. again, you all hold power to counterbalance what sort of content is actively finding its way to the zooru, though as I said above, I will gladly try to make some affordances in that regard on my own part, if not just to please the userbase here. but for that matter, you can look at my post history on the zooru comprehensively and decide for yourself if the content I have uploaded as a whole seems like its in keeping with someone trying to smother zaryan culture. incidentally, I don't think most of the artists I'm uploading things from are going to be very pleased by their stuff being hosted on the zooru either, so don't imagine I'm doing it for their sake. as I understand it, the booru is not an RSS feed of content pulled from the zarty--which I should point out already contains a thread dedicated to pulling content off of xitter along with countless threads featuring content from unfriendly offsite sources--but a functional searchable archive of art relating to the show in any capacity. nuadmin Booby, or maybe it was Zoot, has said this site prides itself on being a place for all things zellig, and I took it to mean the booru as an extension does so as well, with the obvious exceptions of porn, deep troonery/subversion, and/or vantablack brimstone. the last two being necessarily subjective to a degree, which I'm completely fine with hearing griping about, that's always been part of the discourse here. additionally, the zooru is in theory downstream of the zarty and not the other way around, so I don't imagine what's posted there will backflow here in any meaningful capacity. if you're worried about things you find gemmy being lost in the zooru under what you consider coal, then you too are free to tag stuff accordingly as well, and certainly free to give me a piece of your mind in the comments as many of you have been doing. or write to the admins to tell them to tell me to sod off. above all else, Zalt and the other staff here hold final say and I will abide by their discretion. I was told by them at the start that the effort was appreciated and until I hear otherwise from them I don't have any intention on stopping the posting. thank you for reading oh so carefully.
