Since she studies in a Dutch school in Dutch language I think it's safe to say that she is from one of the islands which are part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, so Sint Maarten, Saba or Sint Eustatius. Yes Yfke is heavily implied to be from Friesland but 1. not everyone in Friesland is Frisian, 2. Frisian is not a real ethnicity
