I wonder what the Sims application will do in the future. I doubt it will interact with the real Sims directly, but it might have save files and models? Perhaps even a plot of the Schopenboer house? Maybe a Verabot will be introduced when things inevitably go haywire because Coco downloads an Agugu virus o algo. I hope there are different assistants in the future, and that we can tweak them. Maybe that's what experimental mode is. That, or a version of the "talk to" programs on Scratch.
