>>52752 Yeah, it’s shit seeing new churches go up while fewer people seem to care about faith. For Orthodoxy, it’s always been about living the faith, prayer, fasting, and liturgy, not just the buildings. But a lot of young people today, in all faiths, feel pulled toward modern distractions instead of tradition. Still, there’s hope. Faith has a way of coming back when people feel empty or lost. The churches keep building, trusting that folks will return when they’re ready. Sometimes all it takes is one person living their faith genuinely, showing kindness, patience, and joy to inspire others. Maybe that’s the best way forward for all of us. Everyone will go about this in their own way, in the end.
