the sharty has self-reinforcing bandwagon-like culture it's like this experiment where monkeys were placed in a cage with bananas in the center except if a monkey tries to reach for it other monkeys get blasted with cold water so they fight everyone who tries to reach for them except nobody is getting blasted anymore and everyone is trying to fight the monkey that reaches for bananas because they learned it from older monkeys
