Here is the second phase concerning the actual ritual, which may be hard for those of you who don’t watch rugby. 
The first step is you need to find a night when the South African rugby team is playing the New Zealand team. I don’t have time to explain why, you can ask her yourself. But the point is that it can only be done on a night where South Africa beats New Zealand.
Anyway, while the South African national anthem is being played you need to lay the biltong neatly in a plate. Don’t touch it. Watch the full game. If South Africa wins turn off the TV immediately, and light a candle over the biltong while taking care not to spill any wax over it. 
You need to chant the following Afrikaans phrase 7 times now. “Jy weet nie wat ons weet nie, ek is nie n poes nie” 
And if you’re lucky you’ll have a coco of your very own
