sophistic view. Coco's reoccupation with Maya is inextricably linked with her problematic tragedic past, so that question isn't so effortless as you think. Furthermore, her “happiness” and “motherly behaviour” are, properly speaking, the misinterpreted social mask and hidden sincere experiences. And yeah, she wouldn't find you(conditionally) needless for her.

Ultimately, everyone will have their own opinion even though after this, I can't contain my feelings inside anymore. I was being need to speak up.
