You let in cracked clients by going into the server.properties file and finding "online-mode=true" and changing "true" to "false". No you can't join any server with a cracked client. The server needs to be configured in the way I showed before. BE WARNED though because unless you install a login/auth plugin like authme people will be able to join with whatever username they want and impersonate others on the server and play as them. A login plugin will let people create a password when they join so they can be the only person who can use the account. Also, no one will have skins with online mode set to false, but it can be fixed with a skinfix plugin. As for the plugins to use, I recall using SkinsRestorer (https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/skinsrestorer.2124/). For the auth plugin I can't remember what I used so you will have to find the best one that works on 1.20.1
