You can argue that any string of characters is technically a word by the nature of being a string of characters but then it's senseless to engage in the debate of whether or not "zellig" is a a word, OP merely posited that it's not an "actual" word, aka not a real word. >>20591 In that case any string of characters that can be intelligible or meaningful to any single other person is a word, once again making the category arbitrary and subjective.
