Compensation is not a reward that is achieved for doing tasks, it is a continuous social contract between parent and child. Life means to struggle against death and that requires work, children have it very comfortable in that they only have to give a few hours of work a day to ensure comfort. All those incentives you described are only because of an authority figure or institution that grants them. The patriarchy is the most fundamental authority institution and is good for society.
