"thoughts" are basically a mindset, if I understood correctly. it's talking about despair and egoism (which are two sides of the same coin, very interesting, I was surprised when I read about it)
and I don't doubt you have conclusions because, I mean, you have a mind geg it's never gonna stop thinking 
in that case a good natured open-minded debate would be good, to settle different thoughts. or at least read a book by some, let's say in my case, saints, with the questions you have in mind. 
I don't want to sound cliche or anything but you could call an Orthodox priest (or through email, depends) to have a chat about existential questions. clergy's more experienced than me for sure.
