i hate ego. humility is even worse. when you're in the internet and you proclaim yourself as being humble, you risk disguising it as nothing more than a facade to feed your ego. to draw attention to oneself by constantly deflecting praise, when in reality you really just jerk off to the thought of being better by rejecting compliments and claiming to be unpretentious when really it's the opposite. it's a loop of a loop of a loop, being self-aware of it doesn't mean squat, and being self-aware of your own self-awareness doesn't mean anything either, and being self-aware of that wont do any good, so on and so on. im trans btw if that matters
